Every time I go out to the mountains it strikes me how much cleaner the air is than in Tokyo. How quickly I forget that pollution is not normal. Tokyo is pretty clean by Beijing standards but nothing compared to the mountains and rice fields. Perhaps I will try farming as my next career. Those skills will be much more valuable in the future compared to what I currently do all day long.
